Teaching Students to Be Effective Users of Information

I've always told my students that the most successful person is not the one who knows the most information, but one who knows where to find it. This has never been truer than today. Add to that the ability to discern the quality of information and what to do with it, and you have the optimal 21st century learner.

There are four components in being an effective users of information:
1) Figure out what you need to know
2) Know where to look
3) Evaluate the quality of what you have found
3) Know how to share it

I hope the information and links on this sight will help you guide your students become effective user of information.
